WITCH'S ROCK & OLLIES POINT
Witch’s rock and Ollie’s point are one of the best and most famous surf spots in Costa Rica. Both breaks are every surfer’s dream. Located in Santa Rosa National Park, we will access the two surf destinations by an hour-long boat ride across The Gulf of Papagayo.
Witch’s Rock creates powerful, fast and hollow waves during mid and high tides. The waves break over a sandy bottom. It is a river mouth surf spot that breaks to the left and to the right.
Ollie's Point is a fantastic right point break. The bottom at Ollie's Point is mostly rocks at the take off but also a sandy bottom. This beautiful break had its waves immortalized in the movie Endless Summer II.

Guanacaste Surf Spots
PLAYA MARBELLA
Playa Marbella is a calm beach with dark sand and bright blue waters. The break has a sandy bottom with good lefts and rights, but watch out for some rocks!
This spot is best surfed during mid tide falling to low tide. Small and medium swells generate the best waves here. During low tide you can get some barrels. Marbella is known for its consistency, especially with offshore winds. This is the perfect beach escape! There are a lot of locals that surf it so give them respect.

PLAYA OSTIONAL
Playa Ostional is famous as a nesting beach for Olive Ridley Sea Turtles, this beautiful spot also offers excellent surfing opportunities. It features a beach break with fast, hollow and powerful waves. Depending upon the direction of swells, the waves produce both rights and lefts over a sandy bottom, with a high barrels quality.
This surf spot has the best conditions on mid to high tide. The beach break is very consistent and the size of swells starts working at 1 meter and holds up to 3 meters.

PLAYA GUIONES
Playa Guiones is a splendid white sand beach in Nosara, commonly referred to as a ‘swell magnet’. The surf spot is known to have one of the most consistent waves in Costa Rica. It features a beach break that peels to the right and left over a sandy bottom.
The beach break has multiple peaks all along the shoreline. During the low tides, the waves are more steep and fast and during the mid to high tides the waves are very smooth, which makes them perfect for beginners and intermediate surfers. The surf spot is quite fun to ride!
